1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?

In the past, we have done an ethical dilemma research project for religion class.
We did a Greek Mythology project in English.
In 6th grade, we did a wild west projest in Social Studies.
We did a labyrinth project in this class.

2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?

Research means to find information on a certain topic. It also means to get as much info as possible to have a thorough anwser.

3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?

Out of the ones I listed above, I liked the Greek mythology project the best. It was fun because we got to pick our groups and pick the specific topic. We video taped our project with the information we had gathered. Some of it was really funny.

1. I think the webbing process helped/did not help me find a topic because:

It didn't really help me that much. I already had my topic in mind, so it didn't really make much sence for me to make an inspiration.

1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas?

I found it kind of hard to find my fat question. My topic sort of switched from focusing on ancient Russia to the Romanov effect on ancient Russia. It really helped me find my fat question and the skinny questions even though it took a while.

I will do what I can to make the changes that are necessary and do extra research at home, if I have too. I will also ask questions if I have any further problems.

Don't feel bad if you have to change your topic. It's often part of the research process. Just let me know if you need help at all. I can help you find sources in the databases and in books if you've had trouble with that.
